I think technology is anything that has to do with electronics.
I'm still not entirely sure what an "instructional designer" does.
When people ask me what I'm learning and what I'm going to do with this endorsement, I tell them I'm not quite sure, but I figured if I was taking more classes I should structure it to get something out of it.

You should use backward design to figure out why you are in this masters program. Look at where you are at, where you want to be and then fill the gap.
That's a good attitude to have. At least you're trying!
I also suggest what Justin suggested. Think of your strengths, skills and you'll get there.
I'm actually in the Endorsement program. I thought about the master's program, but my husband told me if I'm going to get yet another degree it has to be a doctorate.
